- I grew up in Blackfoot, Idaho and our family cultivated 1/4 acre of land to be self sustainable. My grandpa, Robert Hendricks, would plow the soil, sow, water, and we would all gather. Looking back now, it was remarkable childhood. I'm wanting to get back to my roots.
